I don't know about the rest of you but I AM DONE WITH WINTER! Seems like it is hanging around way too long. The good news is we only have 4 week till our first fun show. I am so excited to see all of you and to see how moving the shows to Saturday evening is going to work out. Of course before the first show we need to clean up the winter mess. So our clean up date is April 11 starting at 2:00. Then when the work is done the fun will start. We are doing a mock ranch rodeo. This is designed to get everyone excited about our very first Womens Ranch Rodeo that we are hosting July 31st. So bring your weedeaters, rake and mowers and whatever else you think you would need. But most importantly bring warm bodies. Congratulations to all the youth who participated in the Heartland Youth Rodeo winter series in Kingman. Gabby Sloan, Rachel and Melissa Albert and McKenzie and Kennedy Miller. Kennedy was the 2009-2010 champion in goat tying. Good job to all of you. Some of the things we have scheduled so far are two KWHA shows June 19th & 20th and August 21st & 22nd. Working on other events. If anyone knows of something that we could do be sure to let us know. That is all I have for now.
